Jeremy and Lorena’s international romance began in the most unlikely of places,
“When I first came to Canada, I started to work at McDonald's. I was really anxious as my English was very poor. Luckily for me, Jeremy was my trainer on the first day. Friends and family still can not understand how we started our romance, as my English was so poor and his complete lack of Spanish - but we made it work!“ - Lorena
Eight years later, these best friends tied the knot on May 26, in front of their nearest and dearest, from Peru and Canada!
Some of the bride’s favorite details included her dress, given to her by her mother when they visited Luz Bridal Boutique, “I said ‘yes’ to the dress with her beside me and it will always be a magical memory.” The bouquet with just white roses from Kenmar Flower Farm, representing Lorena’s two grandmothers who had passed away. The two wedding bands were also significant, as they were made out of gold that the bride had inherited from her grandmothers and parents.
However the best part of the night? The surprise dance from the groom and groomsmen!
“I could not believe it as Jeremy is not a person who likes to dance a lot in front of people and neither are his friends!! This was super special and totally unexpected!” - Lorena
