With combinations of burgundy, gold accents and the green of the forest, Sea Cider Farm provided a magical ceremony setting for Rachel and Joe. During the ceremony the couple's one-year-old daughter would walk back and forth between the groom's family and bride's family.
"She was just learning to walk and it was sweet to see her want to spend time on both sides - I am glad our photographer caught those moments." - Rachel
The bride wore a flowing lace Truvelle dress that was a dream to not only capture, but according to Rachel also to wear.
"I had seen my Truvelle dress in a bridal store and loved how it flowed and it seemed like something comfortable to wear for the entire night. I really wanted something that felt casual, but still was a formal wedding dress. I happened to check out a consignment store a year before the wedding and found the Truvelle dress that I loved at a discounted price, in my exact size. It felt meant to be." - Rachel
One of the most popular items on the menu among the guests were the doughnuts from Yonnis Doughnuts.
"We had doughnuts as our main dessert (a play on the groom being a police officer), and every single one was gone by the end of the night. We had rave reviews about them for months after!" - Rachel
Stunning centerpieces, boutonnieres and of course the bride's breathtaking bouquet were designed by Ingrid Rose Floral Artistry.
"Our florist, Ingrid Rose, had wonderful communication with us throughout the year leading up to our wedding. We made several changes in the months leading up, and she was extremely accommodating. She delivered our bouquets to our hotel and went to the venue to set up all the flower arrangements, she did a spectacular job." - Rachel
The bride's advice to couple's just starting their planning:
"Don't leave everything to the last minute. It was important to me to have a lot of the planning done early and not feel rushed in the month leading up to my wedding. I knew I wanted to spend extra money on having people take care of the details and clean up on my wedding day so I could enjoy every moment." - Rachel
