Brianna and Paul had the most whimsical and romantic, intimate wedding at Bilston Creek Farm. From their ceremony under the tree canopy, couple photos among the lavender, a quick getaway to a nearby beach and finally a family dinner in the lantern-lit orchard - every moment was perfect. Their gorgeous wedding was also featured on Today’s Bride!
The couple met during graduate school while studying environmental sciences.
“One of us studied land and the other the sea. We found we had a lot of things in common - we both had connections to Japan and grew up in the same city. Our mutual love for nature made for some amazing adventures together and we look forward to having many more!” ~ Paul & Bree
And their favorite part of the day?
“Photos on the beach. Some time away from the rush to enjoy the ocean-side scenery and be present in the moment. It was a special time and it cultivated a lot of vivid memories. I also really enjoyed being able to walk down the aisle with my mom and dad, and seeing Paul waiting for me at the end.” ~ Bree
“Seeing Bree in her dress and holding her hands while taking in the sounds of the creek and the birds. Extending the family tradition of listening to Neil Young while enjoying a colourful dinner. Seeing our families come together for the first time.” ~ Paul
The smaller guest list meant more quality time spent with loved ones and lots of opportunities for photography.
“It was a beautiful day that brought out many fun little coincidences. It seemed like the stars aligned to make the perfect intimate wedding come together at the right time.” ~ Bree
“The rain held out until it was time to cut the cake, so we got to enjoy the outdoors for most of the day before taking shelter in the barn - the best of both worlds on the farm.” ~ Paul
