Under the tree canopy of the rolling Mary’s Farm & Sanctuary, Sarah and Blake tied the knot on a summer afternoon, in front of their closest friends and family.
“Blake discovered Mary's farm through work events and disc golf, and somehow every time we go there I feel like it's just a very peaceful and connected place. You can't go there without coming away a bit happier than you were before. Plus the fact that the funds are going back to a very good cause made us feel like we made a bit of a difference. Mary’s Farm is a not for profit animal rescue and also an educational and therapeutic resource for children.” ~ Sarah
What was their favorite part of the day?
“When we snuck off together for a romantic walk post ceremony, we had a chance to enjoy a quiet moment together and soak up the beauty of the day.” ~ Sarah
“The ceremony and every part around it. Watching Sarah walk smiling down the aisle, speaking our vows to each other, having our friends and family celebrate this once in a lifetime moment - everything was just so perfect!” ~ Blake
Blake and Sarah arranged their flowers and had so many pretty DIY touches!
"We planned so many aspects of the wedding in advance, and a lot of it went to plan, but a lot of it fell apart at the last minute. Through a lot of luck and a lot of Sarah keeping her cool for both of us, we managed to pull off a beautiful wedding that we will remember forever. We couldn't have done it without all the help we got from family and friends - thank you!”
