It was a picture-perfect summertime surprise proposal for Brittany & Michael at Victoria’s Butchart Gardens. A very busy day at the Gardens, with peak tourist season, but there’s something about a proposal that makes the crowd fall back and look on in wonder. We all love love! The applause from dozens of onlookers, was truly special! Not, the least of which were Brittany’s entire family, who had worked together with Michael, to pull off the surprise.
“It was hard to keep my excitement inside on the cruise in the week leading up to the engagement, and I had to enlist Brittany’s family to help me keep it a surprise, but having them be a part of it made it that much more special, especially when we were celebrating the 30th anniversary of Brittany’s parents!” ~ Michael
The gentle cloud cover created soft light, that despite the middle of the day opened up the gardens for the most beautiful photos. Including the coveted rose garden, in peak bloom!
